BIMS comes from the Bijlmer, a neighborhood of music, food, languages and people from everywhere, long before anyone called that global. We wear it with pride, wherever we go. You don't have to be from the Bijlmer to wear BIMS. You just have to respect where it comes from.
Where it starts
Bims. That's what we call the Bijlmer. A neighborhood is more than buildings, streets and postcodes. It's the people, their stories, their music and the culture they built together.
Zuidoost is changing. Gentrification pushes neighborhoods around, and the people who built them lose their place. BIMS keeps that identity visible. On the street, on your chest, wherever you go.
But BIMS isn't about the past. It's about growing, winning and taking on the world without forgetting where you started.
